My approach

Etali ngayi te

His work is a mixture of painting, sculpture and collage, giving rise to a metaphorical result which evokes suffering as much as transcendence, construction as much as deconstruction. His work lies at the intersection of figuration and abstraction. Inspired by artistic movements such as action painting, expressionism and impressionism, the artist focuses on the emotions of the subjects depicted, thus reinforcing the calm and chaos surrounding the subject. It is his way of paying tribute to the human capacity for resilience in the face of contemporary economic, socio-political and environmental problems.​
